Prepare Necessary Assets for a Company
The UiPath Marketplace's main focus is promoting high-quality content and the business value each persona receives from using the platform. To respond to Marketplace Customers' security concerns who doubt trusting third-party listings, individual contributors have the option to register as a Company if they provide the same assets as companies do. This way, you as a Marketplace Partner can join the list of enterprise content creators.
The below instructions are aimed to help you raise your content's credibility without spending too much time, effort, or money. While non of the items are mandatory as you can choose different procedures for your Company account, we strongly encourage you to consult it.
The following benefits are offered if you choose to submit your listing from a Company profile and provide official support:
- Eligibility for the Marketplace Security Certification. A badge will mark your content as being trusted and thus enhance trustworthiness.
- Higher ranking, credibility & competitiveness.
First, you’ll need to think of a name for your Company as you’d like to present it to customers. Imagine what your Company should be associated with and how it should sound. You can use the following websites for inspiration:

Registering a domain name (conveying your Company name) gives you a recognized identity. Depending on your preferences, you can choose a popular .com/ .net domain name, or start small and choose a cheaper or completely free domain name. The second option can be accessed through some packaged service or is available without any cost. Alternatively, you can hunt for discounted domain names. Almost every registrar offers daily/seasonal discounts.

To provide official support for your listings, you also need a business email address. You can either sign up for a certain email service provider or you can look for an option that offers email hosting.
