Working with Process graphs
A Process Graph is a visual representation of the order in which events took place based on the data. The graph consists of the activities of your workflow and edges which represent the transitions in between the activities. See illustration below for an example.
On the left side of each activity an extra vertical bar exists. Also, there is a difference in thickness of several edges. In the process graph, both these bars and the thickness of the edges, indicate the number of cases going through the activities/edges.
The legend at the bottom shows the metric used in the process graph, which is the throughput time. Also, the number of cases going through this process is shown. Beneath the legend the minimum and maximum throughput times are displayed.
The legend colors correspond to the colors of the Activitiesand Edges(transitions) in the process graph.
By right-clicking on a white space within the process graph, the context menu is opened containing the following options:

Hovering over an edge or activity triggers a hint which includes all kinds of information. For example the throughput time of activities and edges. Hints can be different for each process graph.
In a process graph a start activity is identified by the start icon in front of the activity name. In the above example, the start activity is Receive invoice.
An end activity is identified by the end icon placed behind the activity name. In the above example there are two end activities, Pay invoice and Pay employee reimbursement which means that not all cases end with the same activity.
The Animation icon on a process graph enables you to start a visual animation to indicate how the cases are going through the process.
In the animation an indication is given how each of the cases, represented by a circle, go through the graph. The color of the circle represents the case type. See animation below.
By default, the Detail slider at the bottom of the process graph is set to AUTO, which means that the detail of the process graph is automatically determined. You can use the Detail slider to change the number of activities and/or edges shown.
When the Detail slider is set to 100%, every possible path in the process is shown in the process graph. When the Detail slider is set to 0%, only the most important path in the process is shown in the process graph from start to end, where all other paths are hidden. If the Detail slider is set to any other percentage, the most important paths of the process are displayed according to the selected percentage.
