Communications Mining User Guide

Managing your account

This section describes how you can manage your account in Automation Cloud or how to manage your legacy access account.

Account Management (access via Automation Cloud)

Signing into your account

Once a Communications Mining™ administrator creates your user profile, log into Automation Cloud to access the platform. Then, select the Communications Mining service from the toolbar, and access the service through single sign-on (SSO).

Note: Make sure you have the latest version of a modern browser, such as Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Microsoft Edge, to use the Automation Cloud platform.

Signing out of your account

To sign out of the Communications Mining platform, select your user profile, and select Sign out.

Modifying your account

Since your Communications Mining account is linked as a service to a tenant, you can modify your account (e.g. name change, remove account) from the Automation Cloud platform. For more details, check Managing user accounts in Automation Cloud.

Note: Since you sign into the platform through the Automation Cloud single sign-on (SSO), you do not enter any password. Therefore, there is no option to reset or change the password in Automation Cloud.

Managing your Communications Mining™ account within Automation Cloud

As your Communications Mining account is linked as a service to a tenant in UiPath®, if you need to manage your account (e.g. password reset, change your password, etc.), you need to do so via Automation Cloud.

Account Management (Legacy Access)

Signing in

If you are signing into the Communications Mining™ platform for the first time (i.e. activating your account), check theGetting set up as a Legacy user page for more details.

To access the platform as an existing user, browse your Communications Mining™ URL, and select Sign in.

If you have previously signed into the platform from the same device and browser, you will be redirected to a login screen similar to the one shown in the following screenshot:

Login for existing users on a previously used machine and browser

If you are already signed in, select Go to [company name].reinfer.io to be redirected to the datasets page. Alternatively, you can directly browse the URL of [company name].reinfer.io.

If you are logged out but have signed in before, select Go to [company name].reinfer.io to be prompted to enter the following details:

  • Username or email address
  • Password - the password you created.
  • 2FA code - the 6-digit code generated for your account in the Google Authenticator app. For details on the setup, check the official Google documentation.

After you enter your details, select Sign in.

Tip: If the two-factor authentication codes are not working

The clock on your device might be out of sync. For troubleshooting instructions, check the official Google documentation.

Once you set your new password, you are prompted to set up again the Google two-factor authentication for your account. For more details, check Setting up the two-factor authentication.

Note: As a best practice, you should delete the existing entry in the Google Authenticator app before you set up the new one. Otherwise, you will have two entries with the same name, and only one will work.

Changing your password

To change the password for your account, proceed as follows

  1. Go to the My Account tab, in the Administration section of the Communications Mining platform.
  2. Enter your current password in the Change password field.
  3. Enter a new password in the next field.
  4. Enter again the new password in the next field to confirm it.
  5. Select Save.
