Description

Shares a file or folder with the specified recipients.

Scopes

This activity requires the following scopes:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.appdata

OR

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive

Configuration

  • Google Drive connection - The connection for the Google Workspace account to use in the activity.
  • File or folder to share - The file or folder to be shared. Browse the Google Drive folders and select a file or folder. Use the See more button menu to switch to Use variable (IResource type) or Url or ID input (String) modes.
    • If you select Use variable, you can use the output variable from other activities.
    • Select the Reload File Data option if you've modified your folders and need to retrieve the latest data.

  • Share with - Specifies the type of recipients who are granted access to the file or folder. The available options are: User, Group, Domain, and Anyone.
  • Permission - The type of permission that are granted to the selected recipients. The available options are: Reader, Writer, Commenter, and Owner. Use the See more button menu to use a variable as the input mode.

    Depending on the type of recipients selected in the Share with field, the following fields are available:

  • Recipients - The email address of a user or group to be granted access to the file or folder. This property supports String variables and string formatted values.
  • Send notification email - Specifies whether to send a notification email. This field supports Boolean values. By default, True is selected.
  • Domain - The domain to be granted access to the file or folder. This property supports String variables and string formatted values.

Input
  • Use domain admin access - Specifies whether to issue the request as a domain administrator. This field supports Boolean values. By default, False is selected.

Output

  • Access URL - The web URL of the drive item. Automatically generated output variable.
