Workforce Insights - The Overview tab of Unassisted Task Mining projects has been renamed to Workforce Insights. This provide a comprehensive understanding of your people and how they spend their time so that you can develop the best workforce strategy based on actionable insights. It is only available to Unassisted Task Mining projects.
-
Publish new ideas to Automation Hub - You can now export traces from Assisted Task Mining to Automation Hub and decide whether you want to create a new automation idea or link to an existing one.
-
Unassisted Task Mining (UTM) - UTM comes with a new updated back-end architecture to bring Unassisted Task Mining (UTM) and Assisted Task Mining (ATM) on the same architecture. There are changes to the UTM UX that have come out of this but the core features are still there. The change of architecture provides you with the following benefits:
-
Simpler filtering experience
-
Introduction of Variants to provide grouping traces together and making it easier to see natural variations in a given task.
-
New Analysis engine that delivers more precise results (fewer, but more valuable tasks) in a shorter amount of time (minutes, not hours).
-
Improved actions panel and slideshow.
-
Displaying of timestamps for context.
-
Improvement in performance and scaling.
-
Using Azure Cognititive services PII masking.
-
Unassisted and Assisted Task Mining on the same architecture.
-
Better user experience with a single recorder and improved user interface.
-
AI Center™ dependency removal - data is now stored in Task Mining so AI Center™ doesn't need to be enabled on the tenant anymore.
-
-
Data Export (.CSV) - A basic and easy way to download the captured actions for further usage. You can easily export the traces in .CSV format.
-
Permission for creating Task Mining projects - There is a new Projects creator role for creating Task Mining projects. This allows users to be administrators/creators at the project level rather than the tenant/service level.
With the new architecture in place, there are some old features that are not available anymore as:
-
Recompute
-
End user defined allow/deny list (This setting is now done on project level)
-
View all actions for a given step
