Autosave
By default, your changes are automatically saved when you edit a trace. A trace with automatically saved changes can be auto merged.
Autosave does not impact auto merge.
Below is an overview of the changes that are automatically saved when editing a trace.

Adding a new action to a step;

Adding a new decision point in the trace;

Adding a new connect to an existing step;

Changing the description of an action;

Deleting an action from a step;

Deleting a step from the trace;

Deleting a connection;

Editing an action;

Renaming the trace;

Renaming the title of an action;

Renaming a step in the trace;

Renaming a decision point;
-
Renaming a condition for a decision point.
A notification message will be displayed to inform you that the change was saved successfully.
Some changes may still require you to save them manually, because the change will make the trace invalid for Auto merge. In these cases, a message will be displayed and a Save button will pop up. Refer to Auto merge for details.
Manually saving the trace will prevent the Auto Merge for the trace.
Below is an overview of the actions that require you to confirm the save by selecting the Save button.
