Autosave

By default, your changes are automatically saved when you edit a trace. A trace with automatically saved changes can be auto merged.

Note:

Autosave does not impact auto merge.

Changes that are automatically saved

Below is an overview of the changes that are automatically saved when editing a trace.

  • Adding a new action to a step;

  • Adding a new decision point in the trace;

  • Adding a new connect to an existing step;

  • Changing the description of an action;

  • Deleting an action from a step;

  • Renaming a condition for a decision point.

A notification message will be displayed to inform you that the change was saved successfully.

Changes that require a manual save

Some changes may still require you to save them manually, because the change will make the trace invalid for Auto merge. In these cases, a message will be displayed and a Save button will pop up. Refer to Auto merge for details.

If you select Continue, you must select Save to manually save the change.
Attention:

Manually saving the trace will prevent the Auto Merge for the trace.

Below is an overview of the actions that require you to confirm the save by selecting the Save button.

  • Adding a new step in the trace;

  • Adding a connection that creates a cycle in the trace;

  • Deleting the End event from the trace.
