Agents user guide

Running agents

Once you have built and tested an agent, it's time to make it available in your organization. After you publish your agent to Orchestrator, you can bring it into Studio using the Run Agent activity.

Note: Whenever you update your agent, you must republish it and upgrade the process in Orchestrator in order to get the latest version of the agent in the Run Agent activity.

Using agents as activities means you can incorporate them into workflows to handle parts of larger deterministic processes, have multiple agents act in series, and start agent execution based on triggers.

The Run Agent activity

In Studio Web, use the search bar to find the Run Agent activity.

In Studio Desktop, the Run Agent activity is included in UiPath.System.Activities starting with version 25.2.1.

Refer to Run Agent in the Workflow activities guide to learn how to configure and use this activity in your Studio workflows.
