Prerequisites

To start building agents, you must meet the following prerequisites:

  • Provision Integration Service in your organization.
  • Have robot accounts available for your tenant.
  • Purchase the licenses that give you access to agents. For details, see the Licensing section.

Set up a personal automation

To create and run agents, you need a personal automation setup and a robot account provisioned. You must perform this configuration manually.

Open Studio Web, create and run a manual automation. Running an automation performs the necessary provisioning automatically. You can also perform the steps manually, as described on the following documentation pages:

Set up Context Grounding

The UiPath® Context Grounding service provides agents with the enterprise context they need to act effectively and reliably on business cases.

To set up Context Grounding, access the AI Trust Layer admin panel in Automation Cloud and follow the steps described in Managing AI Trust Layer.

After you create an index, you can manage data freshness through AI Trust Layer or through UiPath GenAI Activities. This ensures the index retrieves the latest relevant results. For additional details, refer to Context Grounding best practices.
