-
Select Add dashboard from the context menu. A new dashboard labeled New dashboard is added to the menu.
-
In the Select a layout panel, select a template layout for your dashboard.
-
Enter a name for the new dashboard in the Dashboard name field.
-
Select the KPIs you want to be displayed at the top of the new dashboard.
-
If desired, add dashboard level filters.
-
Add the charts to the dashboards.
Check out Dashboards and Charts for more information.
You can modify any selected template layout to suit your business needs and specific requirements. You can apply the changes you make to a custom layout for that particular dashboard.
The following table describes the dashboard layout tools.
Dashboard layout tool |
Description |
|
Allows you to split the chart vertically into two separate charts that are side by side. |
| Allows you to split the chart horizontally into two separate charts with one above the other. |
|
Allows you to remove the chart. Note:
Removing a chart automatically rearranges the remaining charts to use the free space on the dashboard. |
A custom layout applies only to the current dashboard. You can create a unique custom layout for each individual dashboard.
You can select a different layout for the dashboard you created. Follow these steps to select a different layout for the dashboard.
If you are working on a dashboard and you do not want to show the dashboard in the published process app (yet), you can hide the dashboard.
Follow these steps to hide a dashboard from a published process app.
In the menu at the left it is indicated that the dashboard will not be visible in the published process app.
Follow these steps to remove a dashboard from the menu.
You can also select the Remove dashboard icon in the Edit dashboard panel at the right.
Remove dashboard is not available when there is only one dashboard.
