Oracle Eloqua authentication
To be able to create a connection with Oracle Eloqua, you need the following CX Marketing credentials for your associated account:
- Company Name
- Username
- Password
You can find these exact values in the welcome email.
To create a connection to your Oracle Eloqua instance, you need to perform the following steps:
-
Select Integration Service from Automation Suite.
-
From the Connectors list, select OracleEloqua.
You can also use the search bar to narrow down the connector.
-
Select the Add connection button.
Note: A user cannot create more than one connection from UiPath within a span of 60 seconds. This is a limitation while creating an OAuth 2.0 connection to Oracle Eloqua. -
You are now redirected to the Oracle Eloqua sign in page. Select Login.
-
Enter your CX Marketing credentials for your associated account and select Sign In.
-
You are informed that UiPath for Eloqua has requested permission to access Oracle Eloqua on your behalf. Select Sign In.
-
Next, select Accept.
- Your connection has been added.
For updated information and more details regarding Oracle Eloqua visit the Getting started with Oracle Eloqua page.
In case you want to create a private app and use the BYOA authentication, follow the below steps:
-
On the authentication page, click the gear icon and select Bring your own OAuth 2.0 app
-
Provide your private OAuth2 app’s Client ID and Client secret and click Connect.
-
Follow steps 4-7 of the previous tutorial for Add the Oracle Eloqua connection.
You can use the connection to enable the Oracle Eloqua activities in UiPath Studio to build automations for list, contact, segment management. The various permission-based use cases that can be achieved are as follows:
Scope/Permission | Usecase | Activity/Event |
Must be "full " or not supplied
| As a user, I want to have the same access of all the resources/objects as I have in my Oracle Eloqua App GUI. | Depends on the access of the user in Oracle Eloqua App. Refer the “Activities” section of the connector documentation for all the available activities/events |
