Autopilot for Everyone
Autopilot for Everyone is UiPath's AI assistant built to help business users with daily tasks. It has the following capabilities:
- Generative AI - creates content, analyzes data, and generates insights
- Context grounding - searches Context grounding indexes to answer user queries
- Automations - recommends and runs UiPath automations
- Clipboard AI - performs AI-powered copy-paste operations
-
You can only upload the following file extensions:
- CSV
- JSON
- TXT
- PNG
- JPG/ JPEG
- TIF/ TIFF
- You can perform a single Clipboard AI paste from a table in Autopilot for everyone. However, you can still access the full capabilities of Clipboard AI by launching the Clipboard AI toolbar.
- The Clipboard AI functionality works exclusively on Windows operating systems.
- Overlapping or ambiguous descriptions for automations or Context grounding indexes can lead Autopilot to suggest or carry out actions that may not be intended.
To deploy and configure Autopilot for Everyone in your organization, administrators have a dedicated section in Automation Cloud where they can manage Autopilot for Everyone installations and configure the following Autopilot features:
- Starting prompts
- Context grounding
- Automation properties
- Advanced settings

Data sources provide relevant context to Autopilot for Everyone to answer user queries. The decision to query a certain data source is based on its description. To answer a query, Autopilot has the ability to cross-reference up to six data sources.
Autopilot has access to several default data sources:
- Autopilot FAQ (*)
- Google (**)
- Wikipedia (**)
(**) Autopilot for Everyone uses Google and Wikipedia to find publicly available information. To stop these external searches, organization admins need to remove them from the user-accessible folder, or business users can disable them from Autopilot Settings > Advanced settings > Data sources.
Autopilot for Everyone comes with a catalog of automations ready for use, catering to multiple needs. When you install and deploy Autopilot, you also deploy a set of default automations, which were designed to satisfy the most common business requests. To leverage extended functionality, you can download additional automation toolsets from UiPath Marketplace and deploy them in the Solutions Management.
The default toolset deploys the following automations during the Autopilot for Everyone installation:
-
Autopilot
-
Autopilot Mac
-

In UiPath Marketplace, you can find several toolsets, grouping related automations. You can download the toolset that best satisfies your needs, then deploy it in the Solutions Management:

Autopilot can understand and respond in any language UiPath supports, regardless of your language settings. It also replies in the same language as the user prompt. Custom starting prompts, automations, and admin configurations cannot be localized.
To change languages, either:
- do it from the Assistant > Preferences > General settings menu, or
- write your prompt in your preferred language.
The real-time translation of automation cards, once they are displayed, might require a few moments to complete.
