Salesforce Agentforce & Flows authentication

Prerequisites

Before creating a connection, follow the steps described in Installing and configuring the Salesforce Flow Agents managed package.

Depending on the select authentication type, you need the following credentials:

  • For OAuth 2.0 Client credentials: Domain, OAuth API Key, OAuth API Secret
  • For OAuth 2.0 Authorization Code: Production, OAuth API Key, OAuth API Secret
  • For OAuth 2.0 Password: Environment, Username, Password, OAuth API Key, OAuth API Secret
  • For Personal Access Token: OAuth API Key, OAuth API Secret, JWT Base64 encoded key, Audience, Issuer, Subject
Note: Salesforce Agentforce supports only OAuth 2.0 Client credentials authentication. Salesforce flows support all authentication types.

Add the connection

To create a connection to your Salesforce instance, you need to perform the following steps:

  1. Select Integration Service from Automation CloudTM.

  2. From the Connectors list, select Salesforce Agentforce & Flows. You can also use the search bar to narrow down the connector.

  3. Select the Add connection button.

  4. Select the Authentication type.

  5. Enter the required credentials for your preferred authentication type.

  6. Select Connect.

  7. Your connection has been added.
